Symphony No. 7 in E major

Of all the autographs of the symphonies, that of the Seventh was the only one used as a model for the engraving of the printed edition, which consequently gives a very clear rendering of the original score and the changes that Bruckner made after the first performance. For the first Gesamtausgabe edition, Robert Haas "reversed the erasures"; in this edition, Leopold Nowak presented the score as Bruckner intended it to be passed on to posterity.
